How often do you let someone know that you are praying for them? When we tell someone that we will pray for them….. we should. Praying on the behalf of someone else should be a priority.
In Ephesians 1:16, Paul writes, “ I have not stopped thanking God for you. I pray for you constantly,”.
We should be people of prayer. We must be people of prayer. Paul says, I have not stopped thanking God for you and in addition to that he add that he prays constantly.
We should pray with thankfulness and we should pray constantly.
I Thessalonians 5: 16-18 say “16 Always be joyful. 17 Never stop praying. 18 Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.”
In verses 17 and 18 we can see that part of God’s will for you and I as believers is to Never stop praying.
Pray for others with joy, pray for others without stopping and give thanks when you pray.
As a follower of Jesus Christ, we are to be pray-ers.
What a great privilege we have to pray for one another.
So when I say that I am praying for you…..I am praying for you.
Because He Lives,
Pastor Steve
